View of an Eagle

There is nothing like riding on the back of an eagle to view the rocky mountains! Here are a few shots of Lake Minnewanka from way up.

This long (15 miles) and deep lake (466 feet) has many names and many faces, many moods and many stories to tell. In the past century, man’s interventions have, step-by-step, deepened, lengthened and altered it. But Lake Minnewanka – “Water of the Spirits” as the Stoney people named it – has seen it all before.
